Understanding the details of therapy is important.

Below is information about my rates, payment options, and the policies that help guide our work together. Reach out for any questions.

  • Therapy sessions are offered at two locations:

    Head and Heart Collective for private pay clients only.

  • I am currently in network with Aetna, Cigna, and Evernorth. If you have these plans, you can use your insurance benefits directly. For all other insurance providers, services are considered out-of-network and require private pay. A sliding scale (i.e., reduced rate) is available for those who qualify. If cost is a concern, please reach out to discuss potential options.

  • If you plan to use Aetna, Cigna, or Evernorth insurance, please check your coverage details directly with your provider, as rates are set by them. If paying privately, the fees are:

    50-minute per session

    • $165 for individual therapy

    • $185 for couples therapy

    • $185 for family therapy

    90-minute per session

    • $335 for couples therapy

    • $335 for family therapy

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining the expected cost of care. Healthcare providers are required by law to offer an estimate for medical items and services if you are paying out-of-pocket or not using insurance. You are entitled to receive this estimate in writing at least one business day before the service is rendered. Additionally, if you receive a bill that is $400 more than the Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the charge. Be sure to keep a copy of your estimate for your records.

  • Payment is due at the time of service, and the credit card on file will be charged. Acceptable forms of payment are major credit cards, including American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa. Receipts are available for your review directly in the client portal.

    If you are using Aetna, Cigna, or Evernorth insurance, claims will be submitted directly on your behalf. If applicable, you are responsible for copays, coinsurance, or deductibles based on your specific plan. These costs will be charged to the card on file after your insurance has processed the claim.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, you must notify me by phone within 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellations made with less than 24-hour notice will incur a fee of 50% of the session rate. As a courtesy, the first cancellation will be waived. However, the cancellation fee will be applied for subsequent cancellations, and the credit card on file will be charged. Frequent cancellations may prompt a re-evaluation of your commitment to treatment. Failure to attend your appointment (within 20 minutes of the scheduled time) without prior notice will incur a fee of 50% of the session rate for the first occurrence and 100% for subsequent no-shows. The credit card on file will be charged with no exceptions to this policy.

  • Please notify me immediately by phone if you are running late for your appointment and provide an estimated time of arrival. The remaining session time will be honored without extension, and the full session rate will apply. If you end the session early for any reason, the full session rate will still apply. There are no exceptions to this policy.
